Book a charity furniture collection
Furniture Donation Network helps hundreds of charities across the UK to collect very good and excellent quality furniture for reuse. Our network of charity collection partners distribute the items they pick up to people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them or sell them in charity shops for valuable revenue.
Booking a charity furniture collection with the Furniture Donation Network is quick and easy.
- Enter your postcode in the box on the right
- Select your address
- Choose the items of furniture you want to donate to charity
- If possible, upload photographs of the furniture (including one of the fire safety label if there is one)
You’ll see an on-screen summary of the furniture collection, as well as a choice of time slots, simply choose the best time for your furniture collection. Sometimes more than one charity in your area will be available, so just chose the charity that you want your furniture donation to go to. Please be advised that charity collection partners cannot always guarantee collection at the date and time chosen but they’ll do their best and advise you if they need to make changes.
Once your charity furniture booking has been made, you’ll receive an email containing a unique booking reference to quote during communication in addition to the contact details of the charity collection partner.
If you are able to upload photographs of your furniture items to our booking form, the charity making the collection can advise you if the furniture is not suitable, which can save you time and avoid disappointment on the day of collection if the charity representative refuses to take the items because of their condition.
To prevent our charity collection partner from having a wasted journey, we cannot accept furniture donations that are not in very good or excellent condition. If our charity collection partners are asked to collect items that are not suitable for reuse or resale, they will not be able to take these items away. Please note that the final decision regarding condition and suitability for reuse rests with the driver or representative of the charity collection partner.
It really is as simple as that!
Furniture looking a bit battered and bruised…? If your furniture’s not in a good condition, please use the Bulky Waste collection service.
Thank you for donating your very good and excellent quality furniture to Furniture Donation Network!
In all cases, for health and safety reasons, we can only accept upholstered furniture which has its original fire safety labels (Furniture and Furnishing Regs 1988) attached. If your item does not have the necessary labels, it won’t be able to be re-used, so please visit the Bulky Waste website instead.
